Visiting the Court & Events
Ms Doris Kandlhofer is in charge of our visitor’s service, guides visiting groups, and organizes events at the Constitutional Court.
Guided Tours
In the course of group tours, members of the public get the chance to visit the premises of the Constitutional Court and learn all about the court’s functions, its working methods and the structure of the institution.
Tours are offered exclusively outside of the court’s law terms (during which the judges are assembled in session) and have to be pre-booked.
Information on guided tours for school classes at the Constitutional Court within the framework of the project "Verfassung macht Schule" and a registration system can be found here: "Verfassung macht Schule".
Public Hearings
Members of the public are allowed to attend public hearings during law terms. Information on sittings open to the public can be found on our Website, in the announcement section of the “Wiener Zeitung”, as well as on the notice board at the Court itself. Groups of ten or more people are kindly requested to announce their visit prior to the sitting. Individuals wishing to attend a court sitting do not have to register in advance.
If you have any questions regarding the registration or want to make an appointment, please contact our service team: event@vfgh.gv.at
House Rules
The house rules of the Constitutional Court must be observed during all visits:
